You will be joining the Software team responsible for developing the control software of our Lakhesys™ machine. With your solid experience as a software engineer, you will be in charge of setting up and maintaining the tools necessary for the team’s efficiency and success.

You will work closely with other members of the Software team as well as the Regulatory team to ensure full compliance of our solutions with applicable standards.

Reports to: Head of Software

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain applications developed in C++.

• Maintain and improve user interfaces built with the Qt framework.

• Modernize the software infrastructure and advocate for best practices in modern C++.

• Lead a skilled team, balancing feature delivery with high software quality standards.

Required technical skills:

• Fluent in French and professional proficiency in English.

• Expert in C++ with solid knowledge of modern standards (C++20 or later).

• Proficient with the Qt framework and QML.

• Previous experience leading a software team from a technical standpoint.

• Strong understanding and application of software development best practices.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience in the medical or life sciences sector.

• Proficient with CMake.

• Familiarity with C++ package managers (preferably vcpkg).

• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, REST API, gRPC).

• Experience in embedded systems environments.
