Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will join a Business Development department of 4 people currently based in France and Canada. The Business Development team’s mission is to offer Axeptio’s GDPR-compliant user consent management solutions to as many companies with more than 10 employees and agencies (digital marketing, data marketing, web development) as possible, and convert them into clients and authorized resellers.
In the context of the company’s international expansion, the International Business Development Manager is responsible for business development within the European Union. The role involves growing the company’s client portfolio by sourcing prospects, managing a sales pipeline, negotiating opportunities, and closing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospect qualification to negotiation and contract signing.
Generate opportunities to promote Axeptio’s solutions to key operational and decision-making contacts within target organizations.
Identify and engage the right contacts, follow up with them through each stage of the sales cycle to advance them towards closing.
Ensure the international business development of the company (Benelux) through prospecting actions aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
Source and approach prospects through all possible communication channels.
Qualify the needs of the targeted companies and operational contacts in charge of user consent issues (digital marketing managers, data specialists, traffic acquisition managers, digital division managers, etc.).
Conduct product demonstrations for all prospects.
Make commercial proposals tailored to the needs of the prospects and the local competitive market environment.
Regularly follow up with prospects and update CRM tools (Hubspot, etc.).
Negotiate sales (companies) and distribution (agencies) contracts.
Finalize the sales process with contract signing.
Analyze local market trends and competitive environment and proactively integrate these analyses into the sales process.
Collaborate closely with the central Revenue team, which includes a Marketing department and a Business Development department, to develop the local market.
Participate in commercial events such as fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to promote Axeptio and its solutions.
Collaborate with other teams in the company (Customer Success, Product, Tech) for the successful deployment of signed contracts.
Motivated, enthusiastic, well-organized, and results-oriented.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
Over 4 years of experience in international business development and prospecting in SaaS companies.
Experience in a solution-oriented sales approach, ensuring clients perceive the value they derive from Axeptio’s product range.
Knowledge of MarTech & AdTech sectors.
Mastery of software product sales techniques and strategies, from prospecting to negotiation.
Proficiency with sales tools: Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, BuiltWith, Apollo.
Ability to communicate and build trust with interlocutors.
Strong negotiation skills and perseverance.
Highly motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Team player, proactive, responsible, and comfortable in a truly global commercial environment.
Ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment and contribute to new business initiatives.
A solid network of contacts in various sectors such as E-commerce, Retail, Media, Finance, Tourism, etc.
Knowledge of digital marketing agencies, web development sectors, and a good understanding of the marketing and technical environments of Web & App ecosystems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to simplify complex contractual, technical, and financial details effortlessly.
