Eurex Trading Operations ensures stable and reliable trading services, fostering fair and orderly trading environment at Eurex Exchange. Our team manages daily operations, including customer helpdesks, reference data maintenance, and theoretical pricing of derivatives. We also support other Deutsche Boerse Group marketplaces and partners. Trading Operations collaborates closely with key areas like Product Design, Trading Design, IT, Clearing, and Key Account Management on various tasks and projects.
As a Eurex Market Supervision Specialist in the Derivatives Trading Control unit, you will work in an international, dynamic team. Your main tasks include deriving fair theoretical derivatives prices based on trading data and relevant pricing parameters. You will also provide customer support for functional, pricing and trading-related questions, ensure system and product changes are embedded in operations, and participate in issue resolution and emergency handling.
Your responsibilities
- Determination of theoretical and daily/final settlement prices for options and futures based on internal and external pricing systems
- Participation in internal and external projects, such as system development, quality assurance and development of new asset classes
- Monitoring the derivatives market using the Eurex T7 trading system, serving as the first point of contact for customers, and assisting our international group of exchange participants with all trading and pricing-related inquiries
- Working efficiently with large data sets and taking active part in the development of analytical methodologies and tools
- Reference data management of options and futures of Eurex and partner exchanges
Your profile
- You have completed your university degree, preferably in Finance or a related field, with relevant professional experience. Alternatively, you have a degree in Natural Sciences combined with experience in Finance
- You have several years of relevant professional experience in an operational area or in trading and possess extensive expertise in various theoretical option pricing models and their practical application to option pricing
- You already gained in-depth knowledge of cash and derivatives markets, including pricing of derivatives, and are familiar with Eurex options and futures products
- You are creative, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and can work well under pressure
- You are a self-motivated, strong team player, capable of working shifts in a fast-paced trading environment
- You demonstrate a high level of service orientation, integrity, reliability, availability, and openness
- You maintain a professional attitude towards delivering results, showcasing critical and solution-oriented thinking. You also work efficiently and remain focused on targets
- You have excellent English skills and good German skills are required
