CONTEXT OF THE JOB: 

We are currently looking for a super motivated intern to join our Legal Team !

The team is responsible for providing legal support, advice and risk assessment to all teams. The mission encompasses drafting and negotiating any and all contracts relating to Deezer's commercial activities throughout the world as well as supporting and following-up pre-litigation and litigation cases in that respect. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

You will actively work with the entire legal team and assist in various legal & commercial issues in support of the company, which includes mainly:

  • Participating in and following the negotiation and drafting of various types of contracts (licensing, partnerships, NDA, production, PR, service providers etc.), mainly in English and in French,
  • Providing legal support to French and international operational teams, (such as  advertising, marketing, business development and tech departments) on a broad range of topics including intellectual property, consumer, business, and privacy law (GDPR).

Požadavky na pozici

This role is excellent for a person that:

  • Has graduated with a Master 2 in Intellectual Property and / or I.T. law and already have a prior experience in a law firm or in a legal department in this area,
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills both in English and French,
  • Feels comfortable in a challenging and multicultural environment,
  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proactive and autonomous work behavior,
  • Is excited to work within a tech and music-oriented environment. :)
