As a member of this team, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation in infotainment and HMI in the automotive field, ensuring that impeccably developed applications enhance the user experience for all VW Group car owners.

What awaits you? As a Senior Android Solution Architect at Digiteq Automotive, you will be a part of a small dynamic team working on several projects. You will design architectural solutions for Android-based infotainment systems and HMI solutions for vehicles. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define system architecture, drive technical decisions, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our Android applications. Your responsibilities will also include integrating new technologies and ensuring the seamless operation of Android applications within the automotive environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and contributing to the overall innovation and enhancement of the company's automotive software offerings.

How do we imagine your profile?

Technical Requirements:

• Extensive experience in developing Android applications, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Kotlin, as well as a solid understanding of Android SDK and development tools.
• Ability to design and architect complex, high-performance Android applications with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Experience with integrating third-party libraries and APIs, as well as familiarity with security and performance optimization in Android development.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Leadership abilities and the capacity to mentor and guide junior developers in best practices for Android development.
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies and industry best practices.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address complex technical challenges and contribute to innovative solutions.
