Description

Meet our team

We are a team of four people helping Heidelberg Materials on the journey toward fully digital processes. We are looking for a new team member to support the integration of our global HR platform, Workday, with our local HR and global IT systems, and help our internal customers in making the best use of it.

What will you do

The challenge waiting for you is to take technical ownership of Workday Suite integrations with local systems, primarily payroll, across various countries. You will also monitor implemented changes, enhance system functionality, and play a key role in building new integrations. Additionally, you will address issues with existing integrations based on IT tickets. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a functional Product Owner from our Global HR department and application analysts responsible for the systems integrated with Workday.

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead discussions with key HR stakeholders on changes to Workday configuration, with a specific focus on integration aspects.
  • Assist IT stakeholders in building and maintaining connections to/from Workday, either via direct integrations or through an internal Data Sharing Platform as middleware.
  • Update Workday PECI connectors based on evolving business requirements.
  • Perform testing activities for integration scenarios and contribute to enhancing the testing framework within the Workday team.
  • Collaborate with Workday Product Owners and team members to strengthen the connection between Integration and Functional teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation on integration functionality within Workday.
  • Ensure quality assurance by monitoring, evaluating, and improving implemented processes.
  • Provide regular support to end-users by resolving incidents and addressing issues efficiently.
  • Continuously explore and enhance knowledge of Workday's integration offerings and features to stay updated with best practices.

Requirements

We are looking for these competencies:

  • Required experience with at least one payroll integration, including its build and maintenance.
  • Minimum of three years professional business and technical experience with an international background.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively.
  • Solid understanding of managerial practices and business processes.
  • Structured and target-oriented working style, assertiveness with a clear focus on rapid implementation.
  • High analytical, communicative, and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of XSLT applied on XML.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and technical skills quickly.
  • Team-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on service and collaboration in an international environment
  • Workday Integration Consultant Certificate or Workday Studio Certificate would be an advantage.
  • University degree in a business or technical field (or comparable qualification/experiences).
