At OMG Research, part of Omnicom Media Group, we are at the forefront of advanced analytics, driving data-informed marketing strategies. We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist who will specialize in building Bayesian marketing mix models that critically evaluate marketing communications and empower our clients to make informed business decisions (data-based consulting). In this role, you will collaborate with a talented team of data scientists and marketing experts to leverage data insights that enhance marketing effectiveness and promote business growth. Join us in shaping the future of marketing mix modelling and discover how data can unlock new possibilities for our clients’ success.
Our team
Our data science group called Annalect consists of an Advanced Analytics as well as a Data Management and Visualization team. Both sub-teams have experienced data scientists with advanced degrees as well as junior team members.
The diverse capabilities of our team are used for projects addressing clients’ business needs as well as for internal innovative projects aimed at improving efficiency and finding new ways of supporting a firm’s core business.
Our Advanced Analytics team uses Python and R to explore vast amounts of data at our disposal and build precise Bayesian (and other) models to advise our clients on how to improve their marketing efficiency. We are currently looking for a marketing mix modelling for this advanced analytics team, with previous experience in either marketing mix modelling and/or Bayesian statistics.
Primary job responsibilities include
· Understanding clients’ business challenges and the context of the task. Translating business problems into analytical tasks
· Suggesting appropriate modelling approaches given the problem in hand and available data
· Building econometric, Bayesian, and machine learning models using available data. Using tools such as R, R Shiny, and Python for advanced techniques such as predictions, simulations, and optimizations
· Interpreting obtained results, presenting and providing advice to the business executives
· Using most recent scientific articles to enhance the applied models. Developing and improving in-house built R and Python libraries to automate and improve our modelling capabilities
What do we offer for that?
No boredom and routine. You will participate in unique projects for large brands (e.g. TV Prima, KFC, Kooperativa, Emco, Direct, Panzani, …). Cooperation with our colleagues in London on projects for international clients.
Ability to partially work from Home Office. Nice and informal offices, which are only a minute from the subway station (Pražského povstání). Chilled juices, soft beer, and fresh fruit are also waiting for you every day.
Two more weeks of all-agency leave in addition to the classic holiday - so when the public holiday falls on a Thursday, we all stay at home on Friday and enjoy an extended weekend.
In addition to that, we educate ourselves, go on team-building activities, occasionally we have breakfast together or celebrate birthdays.
