👩💻👨 Mission

The Head of Finance drive Shotgun’s growth by unlocking new opportunities across products and markets, maximizing the impact of every investment, and empowering informed decision making through clear, actionable financial insights.

🔨What you will do

🚀Financing & Business Development

• Support the launch of new products or countries by providing finance & legal support
• Identify and secure non-dilutive financing (subsidies, loans, tax credits…) to fuel our development
• Collaborate with company leadership on fundraising initiatives

📊FP&A

• Harmonize accounting & reporting between our different legal entities
• Implement monthly cut-off procedures
• Streamline the preparation of our monthly financial reporting
• Ensure financial data systems support comprehensive business monitoring and decision-making
• Drive a budget culture with monthly and quarterly reviews alongside cost center owners.
• Improve the accuracy of our monthly cash forecast
• Develop and maintain a robust business plan aligned with corporate strategy

🧮 Accounting & Controlling

• Lead Finance operations across all geographies, including legal, payroll and financial tooling
• Build strong partnerships with external advisors (payroll, accounting, tax…) and service providers (banking, insurance, …)
• Oversee the preparation of our annual financial statements
• Design and enforce appropriate internal controls across all functions and regions to ensure compliance and accountability

🧑‍💼Management

• Serve as the go-to expert and leader for all finance-related matters within the company
• Manage, structure, train and expand the Finance team in alignment with the Company’s evolving needs (current team includes a Financial Controller, a Tax & Compliance Manager, and an International Operations Associate)
• Define the Finance projects roadmap in sync with company OKR, ensuring timely and effective execution
• Foster a strong financial culture throughout our organization

• 🕐 You have 5 to 10 years of experience in finance (preferably in consulting or controlling), ideally in a fast growing, international startup environment
• 🏗️ You have a proven track record driving high-performing teams and successfully delivering complex projects
• 👀 You are curious, open-minded, and willing to challenge the status quo
• 🤹‍♀️ You are good at prioritizing and multitasking
• 🪄 You are a master of Excel and Powerpoint, but you also leverage modern tools and AI to optimize financial processes - you want to work smarter, not harder
• 🌐 You are fluent in English and French, and you thrive in a multi-cultural environment
• 💃 You are passionate about entertainment: it doesn't matter which industry, but entertaining people makes you happy: music, gaming, events,...

This role is primarily based in Paris and will involve frequent in-person meetings and travel.
