You will report to our CEO, and your team’s work will be crucial to our ability to grow sustainably. The role is a 360° position in charge of Finance, HR, Logistics and Data with a position at the Steering Committee of the company.

Your Responsibilities

• Be the main touchpoint of the company for investors, shareholders, board members, and bankers, when it comes to financial topics;

• Play the role of a strategic advisor to the top management on key topics : revenue line diversification, international expansion, organization and overall resource allocation; Adaptable, you can manage finance in a growth or path to profitability mode;

• Manage 5 direct reports (Financial controlling, HR, Accounting, Head of Logistics and Data) and contribute to margin improvements and growth in all the related teams;

• Be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well as annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts;

• Contribute to the research of new fundings, both dilutive and non-dilutive (bank and BPI loans, CIR, innovation, international expansion, etc.);

• In coordination with our external accountant, execute monthly accounting of the P&L and balance sheet, as well as the annual closing and the audit of our financial statements;

• Set up clean and safe financial controls and processes, to prevent the company from fraud and mistakes;

• Make sure the company has a fully efficient cash management, by monitoring our revenue collection, and spread the word among the company: cash is king!

• Along with other teams, be the go-to person when it comes to negotiating contracts with suppliers, and make sure we always have the best deals ever. In general, take any required action to optimize our cost structure;

• Education: You graduated from engineering or business school.

• Languages: You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken

• Experience: You have a proven 10+ years experience in corporate finance, transactions services, private equity, audit, or accounting, coupled with a similar position in a Tech company. You already have a proven track record of growing and managing a financial team independently. Ideally, you would have a luxury/art/marketplace sector and software experience.

• Stakeholder management and communication: You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and you are able to explain something complex with simple words. You’re not afraid to expose and defend your decisions with demanding stakeholders.

• Structured and analytical: You are structured and data-driven. You love solving complex problems by breaking them down into actionable pieces. You know how to read and interpret financial data.

• Mindset: You are passionate about Finance topics. You like challenges, have an entrepreneurial mindset and you like getting hands-on.
