We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER for systems in the area of active safety and autonomous driving.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

• Ensure Project performance objectives (Quality, Cost, Profitability, Delivery and Timing) in the management of Projects
• Ensure Project or System coordination to achieve all projects launch(es) in compliance with Valeo and Customer expectations
• Project team management, its permanent development and support
• Providing training within his/ her expertise for the needs of Valeo
• Planning and Coordination of global projects
• Ensure that the projects run efficiently and achieve the targets related to timing, quality and costs
• Main contact to the OEM (voice to the customer) also to internal stakeholders and external partners/ suppliers
• Close cooperation with the R&D departments as well as leading the project team
• Represent the project in Valeo internal technical steering committees and management committees
• Solve all project issues with support of simultaneous engineering functions
• Promote Valeo Values, Culture and Standards (Product, Methodology, Tools) within the Project team
• Ensure project development in compliance with standards and activities defined in Valeo Policy and project Management Handbook

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU…

• Master degree in a technical area
• Technical thinking, experience with SW, HW
• At least 3 years of experience in R&D projects as a project team member/project manager
• Min. 2 years experience in automotive environment; especially experience with German OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) would be an advantage
• Excellent English for daily communication
• Driving license and willingness to travel to customer meetings in Europe
• Be a team player, assertive, open-minded, decision making personality, leadership skills
