As the Head of Legal at Welcome to the Jungle, you will have the opportunity to build and lead our legal department, working closely with teams across the company to ensure compliance and support business initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Welcome to the Jungle’s legal strategy, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

• Manage commercial, privacy, and corporate (M&A, BSPCE, etc.) matters with a pragmatic and business-oriented approach.

• Provide legal and strategic advice to executive teams and various departments within the company.

• Negotiate and draft various commercial contracts, partnerships, and confidentiality agreements.

• Oversee daily legal operations and coordinate actions with external advisors when necessary.

• Ensure constant legal monitoring and train teams on best practices and new regulations.

• Actively participate in leadership team meetings and play a key role in the company’s strategic decisions.

• You have at least 10 years of experience as a lawyer or legal counsel, with significant experience in a company, ideally in a high-growth environment.

• You have a generalist expertise, capable of handling a variety of matters ranging from commercial to privacy to corporate.

• You have demonstrated management skills and are comfortable leading and inspiring a team.

• You possess excellent interpersonal skills and can position yourself as a true business partner to various departments.

• Pragmatic and hands-on, you know how to take charge of complex and urgent cases.

• You can work independently while being an active and collaborative team player.
