JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Financial Analyst Developer Intern within the Valuation and Calculation Department at Aether Financial Services, you will actively contribute to the development and optimization of our financial tools and platforms. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to our internally developed platform, which is currently expanding, requiring ongoing maintenance and further development. Your responsibilities will cover both technical development and support in business processes, as well as marketing-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development & Automation:

• Develop and enhance our pricing platforms and client interfaces using VBA, Python, JavaScript.

• Optimize data processing and automate key workflows.

• Create new control tools and processes to strengthen existing financial controls.

• Take part in coding and developing solutions in Python/VBA/BDD/JavaScript to improve the justification of accounting results.

• Bring innovative ideas and an external perspective to improve existing workflows and propose new projects.

Tools & Database Development:

• Expand and refine client interaction software, such as portfolio valuation tools for securities or incentive plans.

• Design functional specifications and set up databases.

• Automate and optimize existing processes and tools.

• Propose new projects and improvements to enhance current operations.         

Marketing & Client Interaction:

• Assist with market research, pitching to potential clients, and participating in client meetings.

• Help design marketing campaign materials.

YOUR PROFILE

• You are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, independent, and eager to learn, seeking to move into a fast-growing area of financial services.

• You hold a Bac+4/5 (or higher) from a leading university, “grandes écoles”, or engineering school.

• You have a strong finance background with an interest in information systems and project management.

• You possess quantitative skills and are familiar with statistics and probabilities.

• You have already completed IT projects related to finance, either as part of your academic curriculum or through prior professional experiences.

• Prior experience with financial tools or valuation platforms will be a significant asset.

• A first experience in finance would be an additional advantage.

• You are proficient in Python, Excel (VBA), and databases (JavaScript is a plus).

• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel).

• You are fluent in French and have a good command of English.
