Melek, originally from Turkey and residing in the Czech Republic since 2008, embarked on her dynamic career journey at Aeven in 2016. Starting on the Service Desk, she progressed to roles including Change & Service Request Manager and now serves as a Project Manager.
As a Project Manager, Melek oversees projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful outcomes through coordinated efforts. Aven supported her with certifications in ITIL, PRINCE2, and Agile, exposing her to diverse IT projects encompassing Infrastructure, Cloud, Software development, and security.
In her latest role, Melek manages a customer's Project Portfolio, supporting colleagues while honing her portfolio management skills. Kim, an Advanced Service Center Analyst at Aeven since 2022, comes from Denmark but relocated with his Latvian wife to the Czech Republic, driven by a desire to explore the tech industry. Within the Service Desk at Aeven, Kim and his team serve as the single point of contact for customers, aiming to resolve most issues on the first call. When specialized assistance is needed, they collaborate seamlessly with other teams.
Working closely with 8-10 team members, Kim emphasizes the value of physical office presence for effective teamwork. His current focus involves establishing a new Service Desk for a major client, involving the development of knowledge databases and streamlined processes. Kim also plays a pivotal role in onboarding new team members, a task he finds both challenging and motivating.
