The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. Your mission and tasks:

Media Relations Powerhouse: You'll be the go-to person to communicate AXA's vision and strategy to journalists, extending the Group's influence in the media. You'll shape compelling story angles, curate "success stories," and maintain day-to-day contact with journalists to radiate AXA's impact beyond the Group.

Elevating External Visibility: Prepare interviews and discussions with Group executives, organize media training sessions, and advise spokespersons on their media messages and activities. You'll create opportunities for AXA in the media and ensure media coverage of key events, reinforcing the external visibility of AXA and its main spokespersons in the press.

Strategic Global Media Relations: Actively participate in developing and implementing AXA's global media relations strategy. This includes defining and implementing the Group's press strategy to reinforce its visibility and image. You'll prepare written announcements in both French and English, coordinating speaking opportunities across main marketplaces and liaising with local communication teams.

Reputation Management Enthusiast: Continuously monitor media coverage of AXA in the main countries where the Group operates, anticipate sensitive issues and prepare communications materials in advance. You'll also lead and coordinate press communications on cross-functional and shared issues, contributing to the proper management of reputation risk in the press.

Thought Leadership Advocate: Identify topics where the AXA Group can leverage its expertise and share its knowledge, positioning AXA as a thought leader on industry topics. You'll conduct targeted communications operations on key socio-economic issues to amplify AXA's position and expertise.

With a blend of strategic thinking, proactive engagement, and a knack for storytelling, this role is pivotal in shaping and elevating AXA’s narrative in the media landscape.

Preferred experience

  • You are driven by curiosity and a hunger to deepen knowledge in economic, financial, and political spheres with high analytical acumen and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and French, with outstanding writing prowess
  • You possess an editorial mindset for public relations and are proactive in crafting captivating narratives.
  • You hold a university degree with a keen interest in economics, finance, or political science and demonstrate a strong interest in external communications, economic, financial, societal issues, and new technologies
  • Demonstration of outstanding interpersonal and coordination abilities with strong teamwork and cross-functional skills.
  • You exhibit discretion, respect confidentiality, and continue to thrive even through periods of tight deadlines.
  • Excellent listening and discernment skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels through great sense of priorities and top-notch organisational skills.
