HOW DOES IT WORK?

200% saved from waste: top products directly sourced from producers and manufacturers that do not respect arbitrary (absurd) retail standards, such as size, shape, perfect colors, typo mistaken labels, overproduction, etc…

 100% top quality: all the products fit our rigorous quality policy (taste, freshness, no harmful or controversial ingredients, ethical sourcing, no heated greenhouses for fruits and vegetables, etc.), including organic and locally sourced fruits and vegetables, 

100% flexibility: weekly deliveries with a super easy skip option when needed. Stop when you want. 

    We have already rescued more than 5700 tons of products, thanks to 30,000 satisfied customers. And we are just getting started! Our goal is to save thousands more tons of goods all across Europe.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    As a senior role at Bene Bono, the Head of Growth of Bene Bono is responsible for making the community of users grow from 30K users in France & Spain to 100K+ within 2 years. Together with her/his team, the Head of Growth closely collaborates with the Tech, Product, Data and other Marketing teams to amplify existing growth loops, find new ones and optimize the engagement & retention.

    The future Head of Growth will replace our beloved Matthias, who is sailing towards more agricultural and manual perspectives, after 3 years at Bene Bono (from 1K to 30K users). She / he will report directly to the CMO and cofounder Sven.

    Main missions 👇

    1. Develop and Execute Growth Strategies: 

      • Market and competitor analysis: Understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities 
      • Growth loops and tests prioritization: identify relevant loops and prioritize tests 
      • Experiments: implement A/B testing to drive innovation

      2. Drive Customer Acquisition: 

      • Budget: contribute to the budgeting of the next months and years 
      • Day-to-day management: cascade targets to teams and follow-up on actual performances

      3. Enhance Customer Engagement, Retention and Loyalty: 

      • Customer insights and feedback: gather as much data as possible to identify opportunities 
      • Loyalty and retention: drive cross-team projects to enhance retention

      4. Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: 

      • Team Management: offer to the team the best setup to perform, in particular via collaboration and knowledge sharing 
      • Performance Management: set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement

        • A few powerful loops, such as Paid marketing, referral or B2B;
        • A strong brand platform and value proposition, leading to a good awareness and a long-lasting retention of users;
        • Robust processes to support a sustainable growth (AB testing, Ads creation, etc.);
        • An efficient collaboration with teams (Product, Tech, other Marketing teams) to define priorities and execute fast.

          What we are working on:

          • Innovating to improve current strong loops (e.g., new Paid channels, AB testing referral);
          • Increasing the sign-up to first order conversion rate;
          • Strengthening the attribution to better steer our investments.

            What may come next:

            • Testing new loops (here we come SEO);
            • Co-building with other teams a strong reward / loyalty model.

              REQUIRED PROFILE

              1. Growth technical knowledge: 

              • Ability to understand growth motions (acquisition, retention, engagement), their relationship, and to be able to monitor them
              • Experimental mindset: experience in optimising growth loops using well-defined experiments (opportunity, hypothesis, test, validation)
              • Growth Product expertise: experience in leading Product experiments, with proven UX/UI skills and technical background, in order to lead technical teams
              • Growth Ops knowledge : agility to build internal tools to optimize team delivery efficiency (automations, dashboards, etc.)

              2. B2C digital marketing experience: 

              • Paid marketing: experience in managing and optimizing paid marketing campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to maximize ROI
              • Other levers: strong experience and innovative mindset regarding “usual” digital B2C marketing levers, such as referral or SEO
              • Marketing mindset: familiarity with all aspects of Marketing (Brand, Content, CRM, etc.)

              3. Analytical proficiency: 

              • Product & Business Analytics: ability to use analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Metabase) and to collect customer feedback in order to track user behavior and derive actionable insights
              • Statistical Knowledge: proficiency in using statistical methods to analyze data and identify growth opportunities
