Big Data & Advanced Analytics provides infrastructure and services to enable the development of data science, analytics, and big data solutions by the businesses across the value chain served by Deutsche Börse Group. We standardize and automate processes with modern technologies and frameworks.

As part of our cloud migration and digital transformation journey, we are in search of a dedicated Cloud Security Engineer to play a pivotal role in our journey toward cloud migration and digital transformation.  Your passion for cybersecurity, coupled with a forward-thinking mindset, will be crucial as you focus on creating and securing data platforms in the cloud environment.

In this role you will join a growing and diverse big data experts to safeguard digital assets, address security related topics and evaluating new cloud services.

Your responsibilities:

• Implement and manage security controls, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, data encryption, and endpoint protection.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Ensure that cloud services are upgraded with the latest security patches and updates.
• Oversee the maintenance of security tools and software.
• Actively monitor cloud environments and respond effectively to any security incidents.

Your profile:

• Proficiency with security best practices, services, and architecture in Cloud (Azure/GCP).
• At least 2 years of experience on similar position.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Good knowledge in Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles. 
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Experience with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
• Strong team player willing to cooperate with colleagues across office locations and functions. 
• Very strong English language skills are a must.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty as per operation requirement after probation period.
