• Intégrer des logiciels scientifiques tiers.

• Participer à l’analyse des besoins fonctionnels.

• Communiquer et gérer l’interaction directe avec le client.

• Supporter les projets des clients.

Discngine is looking for a fullstack junior developper to support growing activity in professional services teams.

After your onboarding period ([https://www.discngine.com/blog/2018/1/17/the-newbie-backlog-how-we-welcome-our-new-co-workers]) you will evolve in a cheminformatics and/or bioinformatics environment depending on your profile, you will use agile methodologies and you will be part of customer facing projects.

Your main activities will be:

• Design applications and solution with focus on added value, and their scalability and maintainability.

• Develop apps or new features, according to identified needs.

• Integrate 3rd party Scientific software.

• Participate to functional needs analysis.

• Communicate and manage direct interaction with the customer.

• Support customers’ projects.

• Documentation and reports in English. French is a plus.

Vous êtes titulaire d’une maîtrise ou d’un doctorat en chémo-informatique ou en bio-informatique. D’autres diplômes (science des données, informatique, ingénierie, chimie médicinale, pharmacie et autres diplômes scientifiques similaires) sont les bienvenus s’ils sont accompagnés d’une thèse ou d’une expérience dans le domaine de la chémo-informatique ou de la bio-informatique.

Vous avez une bonne compréhension des programmes/concepts tels que :

• Python, javascript et/ou autres langages de programmation

• Services REST et intégration API

• SGBDR (i.e. Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL)

• l’intégration de solutions informatiques en chémo-informatique.

La connaissance du framework REACT serait un plus.

You have a Master Degree or PhD in computational chemistry or bioinformatics. Other degrees (i.e. data science, computer science, engineering, medicinal chemistry, pharmacy and similar scientific degrees) are welcomed if coupled with thesis/experience in the field of cheminformatics or bioinformatics.

You have a good understanding of programs/concepts like:

• Python, javascript and/or other programming languages

• REST Services and API integration

• RDBMS (i.e. Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL)

• Integration of cheminformatics IT solutions

Knowledge of the REACT framework would be a plus.

Your professional English allows you to interact effectively on a technical and scientific level, being able to address complex tasks especially in relation with customers. Après avoir passé en revue ta candidature, tu passeras un premier entretien téléphonique informel (~30min) pour vérifier les bases (situation actuelle, disponibilité, questions plus spécifiques, motivations, attentes…)
Ensuite, tu auras un second entretien technique avec l’équipe de recrutement (1~2 heures) pour couvrir les aspects techniques du poste, les question RH, attentes salariales…
Un troisième entretien informel optionnel pourrait avoir lieu pour rencontrer les autres personnes de l’entreprise.

After reviewing your application, you will have a first informal telephone interview (~30 min) to cover the basics (current situation, availability, specific questions, motivations, expectations…).
Then, a second technical interview with the recruitment team (1~2 hours), to cover the technical aspects of the position, HR questions, salary expectations…
An optional third informal interview to meet with other people from the company.
