The position

Job description

What you will be working on :

Main challenge :

Collaborate with game teams to identify research needs, develop user research roadmaps, and conduct studies that uncover player motivations, needs, and the game's usability and design challenges. As part of HQ, you will guide teams in improving the player experience and assess the risks and opportunities in our games under development.

What it means on a daily basis

  1. Design and implement research protocols, analyze data, and Collaborate with game teams to identify research needs and develop long-term user research roadmaps.
  2. create clear, actionable reports that drive impactful decisions.
  3. Manage and oversee the execution of user research studies through external partners, ensuring quality and alignment with project goals.
  4. Provide strategic insights to game teams and other key departments, highlighting design opportunities and potential risks based on test results.
  5. Continuously evaluate and improve our research methods, refining processes to ensure the highest quality and relevance in our studies.

Who you will be working with

Gameloft team’s and studios’ around the world making sure that our games provide the best User Experience possible. As part of HQ and together with Henri Brouard, you will also be working in tight collaboration with other research departments, especially the Consumer Market Insights team.

Who you are

  1. You have analytical and synthesis skills, you work proactively, autonomously, and within a team
  2. You have project management skills and a strategic mindset
  3. You are passionate about the games industry and have intellectual curiosity for research!

What you need to succeed

  1. 2-3 years experience in UX Design / User Research – whether web/software/games
  2. Masters degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Ergonomics or Sociology/Anthropology
  3. Knowledge of video games is a plus
  4. Fluent English, French would be a plus
