In a context of rapid growth, we are looking for a Head of Finance (RAF) to lead and structure our financial and administrative operations. You will play a pivotal role in managing finances, supervising budgets, and implementing rigorous processes to support our development.
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
FP&A Process Coordination: Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including quarterly updates and rolling forecasts. Collaborate with operational teams to gather and integrate necessary data.
Performance Analysis: Monitor monthly financial results against budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Financial Modeling: Develop financial analyses to support strategic decision-making, assess performance improvement levers, and enhance the profitability of business activities.
2. Communication and Financial Reporting
Production of Reports for Management and Investors: Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports highlighting key financial performance indicators (KPIs), gap analyses, and other relevant insights.
Analyses for Lenders (Banks, Investors): Support the preparation of financial documents for investors, including market analyses, financial projections, and presentations for shareholders.
Financial Documentation: Ensure the preparation and updating of financial documents required for audits, due diligence processes, annual closing, and financing operations.
3. Funding:
Take charge of our corporate structuration and debt fundraising efforts, seeking opportunities to optimise our cash management
Lead the preparation of subsidy and grant applications, securing additional resources to fuel our growth.
Assist the CEO in equity fundraising efforts
4. Operations and General Accounting
Process and Tool Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of reporting and forecasting, including automating reporting and implementing new financial planning tools.
Monthly Closures: Participate in monthly closings by recording entries such as accruals, depreciation, provisions, reversals, and impairments.
Bank Statement Processing: Handle bank statements, perform account reconciliations, and prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS) using our tool, Pennylane.
Main Contact for Accountants: Act as the primary point of contact for our accounting experts in France and Belgium.
Accounts Payable Management: Oversee supplier accounting tasks, including invoice payments and follow-up on reminders. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers’ billing departments.
Group Company Accounting: Ensure proper accounting for the various companies within the group.
Accounts Receivable and Collection: Monitor and recover outstanding client receivables.
Education: Master’s degree from a top business or engineering school.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in finance, either in a consulting firm (audit, transaction services) or within a finance department.
Analytical skills: Strong expertise in financial analysis tools and methodologies, with advanced proficiency in Excel to drive performance and support strategic decision-making.
Results-oriented: Proactive, dynamic, and highly initiative-driven, with a solid understanding of business challenges to align financial goals with the organization’s strategic priorities.
Rigor and precision: Detail-oriented and meticulous in preparing financial reports and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
