The position

Job description

Within the Commercial Strategy Team of the Aviv Group, you will be part of the Growth Engines team and report directly to the Senior Director - Growth Engines. You will be responsible for driving revenue, profit and share growth for our B2C segment across all AVIV markets in Europe (for now: France, Belgium, Germany). B2C at Aviv represents all individual customers who are listing their property directly on our websites (willing to rent or sell on their own) as well as all the seekers looking for their dream place.

You will define, conduct and implement the strategy and development plan for this high-potential market and your role will include:

  • Defining a comprehensive strategy for the B2C segment across Aviv geographies, in agreement with key internal stakeholders

  • Defining and implementing goals with clearly defined success metrics / targets (ie. customers to acquire / retain, upsell levers and targets), as well as well the definition of clear initiatives, underpinning the execution of this strategy

  • Defining financial targets and tracking against plan (budgeting and forecasting exercises)

  • Driving key stakeholders to execute the defined strategy (product & tech, BI, CRM, Marketing/brand, Customer Care…)

  • Owning the go-to-market strategy on new product launches

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives deliver on time and on target 

  • Managing and mentoring the B2C segment team (currently 1 Segment Manager, based in Brussels), fostering a culture of excellency, collaboration and innovation

  • Representing the segment internally during strategic and executive meetings

  • Staying informed on industry developments and emerging marketing trends


Preferred experience

  • You have a higher education degree specialising in business, economics or marketing (from a top business school or university), you have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a strategy manager in the digital or new technologies sector, classifieds or marketplace experience is a strong plus

  • You have demonstrated success in executing impactful topline growth initiatives

  • You are autonomous, a good coordinator, and have the ability to work in a team and unite various departments and stakeholders around your projects

  • You have a good business acumen, enjoy and excel at negotiating, and are results-oriented

  • You show strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans

  • Numbers and Excel is essential for success in this position and you manage them well

  • You are excellent in communication and interpersonal skills to drive and engage your team, as well as internal stakeholders at various functions and hierarchical levels

  • You are a creative problem solver, enjoying challenges and willing to face them with grit and endurance 

  • You are customer obsessed with a good understanding and measuring of the customer journey, pain points, satisfaction and market headroom (acquisition and pricing)

  • You speak English fluently as well as French and/or German

  • The role is based in Paris, France or any of our offices in Germany (Nuremberg, Hambourg, Berlin)
