You are in charge of brand identity, strategy, and execution across Europe. To refine brand identity, you lead the appropriate market research, brand positioning, and competitor analysis. You then deploy the global brand management and brand marketing plan, ensuring that the global brand image and position are correctly developed in all our markets. 

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Brand Strategy and Positioning. Develop and execute a consistent brand strategy aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and growth objectives. Ensure that our brand story and identity resonate with our target audiences and markets.
  • Brand Identity and Messaging. Oversee and refine our visual identity, tone of voice, and key messages to ensure a cohesive and impactful presence across all channels and platforms. Adapt brand messaging to different audience segments, including freelancers, businesses, and partners.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership. Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, communication, product marketing, product and sales, to integrate brand positioning into product launches, marketing campaigns… 
  • Content and Campaign Work hand-in-hand with the content team and acquisition/growth teams to define campaign strategy in alignment with brand objectives. Lead creative teams to develop assets that support both demand generation and long-term brand building.
  • Social Media BrandingManage the brand’s positioning on social media. Design and oversee social media strategies to grow our community, strengthen brand affinity, and drive demand generation.
  • Brand Promotion and InfluenceEnhance visibility and credibility by recruiting internal and external brand ambassadors, leading thought leadership initiatives, and ensuring strategic engagement with industry associations while monitoring regulatory developments.
  • Market Research and Merchant Insights Conduct market research and brand perception analysis to understand the needs of our merchants, the resonance of our brand, and our competitive positioning.
  • KPIs and ReportingDefine clear performance indicators, track brand performance, and provide regular reporting. Continuously optimize strategies based on key performance metrics, including brand awareness, engagement, and perception.
  • Team Management and Development Support and mentor the brand and creative team to ensure high performance and ongoing professional growth.
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • 5+ years of experience in this field (either client or agency), preferably in the tech sector. 
  • B2B or B2C experience will be valuable in this role, but you have to have worked on complex products and/or services. 
  • Excellent level of oral and written English. 
  • Big plus if you have worked on a marketplace before as having two audiences is an added complexity/exciting opportunity. 
  • Genuine interest and ability in both setting the strategy AND getting the job done.
  • Experience working on a European scope with multiple local stakeholders is mandatory - Malt’s business is more “local” than others, so we can’t have a top down/HQ-focused approach.
  • Curiosity around AI as the next productivity booster for marketing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and nurture relationships, to lead by example, to win commitment, and to share your enthusiasm.
