The position

Job description

Based in South East of France (close to Marseille ideally), connected to the Wholesale department, you will manage our distribution network in your dedicated commercial area (counties 06,11,13,30,34,66,83, 2A,2B).

You will be the ambassador of the brand to our B2B client, and will promote the brand image in accordance with IZIPIZI values, both within your commercial area and during different French trade fairs. Your clientele consists of a wide range of stores: concept stores, opticians, fashion, kids stores.. etc.

Through your regular market visits (you will often be traveling) and your presence at the head office, your main tasks will be to:

SALES DEVELOPMENT

Build customer relationships based on trust, expertise and reliability

▪ Manage the portfolio of existing customers

▪ Provide excellent customer service to existing and new accounts

▪ Train your customers on IZIPIZI’s products, services, B2B shop

▪ Animate your customers community through social media in accordance with IZIPIZI guidelines

Develop business in the dedicated area to ensure growth:

▪ Sell in : Take orders & ensure orders are properly passed thru, work closely with the sales administration team.

▪ Continuously bring existing customers to next level

▪ Target and prospect potential customers in your zone in order to increase your portfolio

▪ Ensure presentation & implementation of collections and new products

▪ Sell out follow up

Be regularly in contact with your customers :

▪ Have an important presence in the field and at trade shows

▪ Remote management of your accounts through phone, mail

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

▪ Guarantee the merchandising policy & the brand universe in your area

▪ Train customers to our visual merchandising guidelines

▪ Prepare tailored merchandising proposals based on your customers’ profile

FORECAST & PLAN

▪ Participation in the definition of annual objective plan for the dedicated area (Bottom-Up Budget / Targeted Openings / Forecasts -collections, displays, POS material-)

▪ Monitor the qualitative and quantitative objectives through KPI’s that will be set with you

▪ P&L follow up

▪ Ad hoc participation on building long run plan

REPORT

▪ Report on your commercial activity and achievements through the internal CRM system

▪ Follow up to ensure plan achievement : weekly meetings & quarterly report to the Sales Manager France

▪ Recommend improvement in sales processes by evaluating results and competitive developments

▪ Organize and share regular feedback from the field with HQ on sales processes, B2B tools, logistics, product success & development, visual merchandising, marketing tools

▪ Market intelligence : be the eyes and ears on the market.

▪ Communicate about new business opportunities (distribution channel)

▪Investigate and report on key competitor activities : new products, new trends / copycat situations

▪ Involved in specific internal projects (RETEX, Key-User, Task Force, Benchmark, Best-Practices).

Preferred experience

You have an experience in a similar position (including work/study training program or internship) for at least three years. You have experience in retail or mass-market distribution (GMS).

You have between two and five years of higher education in business (bachelor or master).

Good level in English (written and spoken) is a real advantage/must-have.

Driving Licence and ability to rent a car.

Beyond your training, it is above all your personality and disposition which will make the difference! Dynamic, cheerful and organized, you know how to take initiatives and are at ease in a constantly evolving structure. You have excellent interpersonal skills and strong team spirit.

You have an affinity with the design, fashion or retail industry.
