We are hiring an Associate Product Manager in Le Wagon’s engineering team. The job is based in Paris (11e) for a 6-month internship.


The Engineering team 🛠

We are a team of 10 Software Engineers based in Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Munich.

Our mission is to build the right tools and features to support Le Wagon’s consolidation and growth. We work in cycles and follow the Shape Up methodology.

Our senior engineers have a strong product culture and are involved in our product cycles, from shaping to release and adoption. The product team is made of the CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Data and Associate Product Manager. You will report to the VP Engineering.

What is the job about? 📐

As an Associate Product Manager, you will take an active role in the Product Roadmap, coordinating our cycles and owning User Research and Shaping steps.

What you will do

  • Collect needs and feature requests from our main stakeholders during Framing sessions, and pitch them to our CEO, CTO, VP Engineering and Head of data during the Betting Table;

  • Assist Project Owners in the writing of well-scoped pitches, synthesising the context and needs, elaborating solutions, designing sketches on Excalidraw or Figma;

  • Collect Status Updates weekly to take the pulse in projects in building / shaping; 

  • Organise all projects lifecycle events w/ developers and stakeholders, from shaping & building kick-offs to intermediate & final demos;

  • Document the latest features shipped in Release Notes shared weekly on the relevant Slack channels;

  • Onboard stakeholders on new features, monitor adoption and collect feedback from our users.


Preferred experience

You are currently a Master’s Degree student or equivalent in Engineering or Business school.

Must have

  • Autonomous and rigorous, you know how to organise yourself and work with deadlines and in cycles

  • Clear and confident oral and written communication in French and English

  • You know how to speak in public, and are comfortable leading calls with 3 to 10 participants

  • Excellent relational skills, you understand the stakes of the product in a tech company

  • Problem solver, good analytical and practical sensitivity, attention to detail

  • You have good UX/UI skills and are able to draw screens quickly on Excalidraw and Figma

Nice to have

  • You did Le Wagon Web Dev Bootcamp

  • You know how to code and develop on your own time (in Rails 🙌)

  • You have a basic knowledge of SQL and wish to improve it

  • You read Shape Up
