Job description

The Team

By joining the People team, you will report to our HR Manager, Agathe and also work alongside, Pauline, our HR Assistant, and finally Rim, HR Ops (based in Tangier). If you join Cafeyn, you will become the HR Manager right-hand’s member on various topics, especially on Employee Administration and HR projects.

Your mission as an HR Ops Specialist 

Employee Administration and Payroll Management: (50%)

  • Employee Administration: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including drafting contracts, amendments, and affiliation procedures through our HRIS (Lucca).

  • Tracking Internal Lifecycle Elements: Monitor probation periods, and manage leaves, absences, and other administrative elements related to HR management.

  • Payroll Management: Collect, verify, and transmit variable payroll elements, review payslips, and make necessary corrections. Ensure compliance with deadlines and legal requirements.

  • Social Declarations: In coordination with payroll service providers, manage social security declarations and ensure compliance with legal payroll obligations.

  • Compensation and Benefits Policies: Ensure the proper implementation of compensation and benefits rules, and respond to employee inquiries regarding these matters. Participate in the implementation of appropriate compensation and benefits policies.

  • Monitoring Legal Changes: In collaboration with local payroll providers, ensure regular updates to processes following changes in laws and social regulations, both in France and in other countries where Cafeyn operates.


HR Support and Assistance: (30%)

  • HR Point of Contact: Serve as the main contact for employees and managers regarding administrative and operational HR matters (certificates, leave management, contractual documents, etc.).

  • HR Data Analysis: Collect and analyze key HR data, assist in creating HR reports, and regularly update employee data.

  • Social Agenda and CSE Meetings: In collaboration with the HR Manager, manage the social agenda, assist elected representatives and management in preparing meetings (Agenda, sending invitations, etc.), and provide answers to CSE questions related to their scope, in compliance with current legislation.

HR Processes and Knowledge: (20%)

  • Continuous Process Improvement: Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and the optimization of tools used.

  • HR Projects : In collaboration with the HR team, you will actively participate in setting up new projects, and evolve on various topics, like the CSE elections.

Who are we looking for?

You are at the right place if you have/are
  • 3 to 5 years in a similar position, preferably in an international and fast-growing environment.

  • Prior experience with CSE elections is highly valued.

  • Organized, very rigorous, and at ease with various IT tools, Excel, and numbers

  • Capacity to handle numerous requests simultaneously

  • A solid knowledge of employment law

  • Recognized for your interpersonal skills, sense of service and confidentiality, and proactivity.

  • A fluent level of English.
