Role & Responsibilities

To develop and execute automated tests to ensure the efficiency and reliability of software applications. Using tools and programming languages, the QA Automation Engineer identify defects and integrate testing into development pipelines, enhancing software quality and delivery.

Your missions:

Automation Development :

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, and Java.
• Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications (for iOS and Android) using Cucumber, Appium, TestNG, and Java.
• Create automated test suites for API endpoints using Karate API and Java.
• Utilize Jenkins for setting up and managing automation test jobs, including scheduling, execution, and reporting.
• Conduct manual testing using Postman to validate API endpoints and perform exploratory testing as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, and weekly retrospective meetings.
• Analyze test results and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Continuously evaluate and improve test automation frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
• At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
• Proven experience in writing, maintaining, and automating test cases for web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, Appium.
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Java, for developing automation scripts.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing test scripts and code.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, preferably using Jenkins, for executing automation test jobs.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter and Docker for setting up and executing performance tests would be a plus.
