Your role as a Senior Security Engineer centers around proactively setting up new tools and processes to ensure the security of our codebase, and creatively solving problems, ensuring a balance between speed, pragmatism and excellence together with the rest of the Tech team. As one of the most experienced members in the team, you will be expected to lead impactful projects and mentor less experienced teammates as well.

    Are you passionate about securing cloud environments and driving innovation? Swile is searching for a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to bolster our team and contribute to our secure architecture.

    Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing:

  • Conducting architecture design reviews to enhance our security posture.

  • Collaborating with platform engineers and developers to promote secure design methodologies.

  • Staying updated on cutting-edge Cloud architectures and ensuring their secure deployment and maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical leadership and consultation for secure technology deployment.

  • Driving the adoption of security architecture initiatives across the organization.

  • Develop and implement data protection strategies for cloud environments, including encryption, tokenization, and key management.

  • Lead incident response activities related to cloud security incidents and conduct root cause analysis.

  • Evaluate cybersecurity tools to enhance technical control sets.

  • Communicate technical security issues effectively to management and technical stakeholders.

  • Identify security vulnerabilities and guide remediation efforts.

  • Improve and automate detection and response.

  • Validating reference architectures for security best practices

Preferred experience

✨It will be a perfect match if you have

  • Proven, extensive and hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with global multi-cloud architectures security.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Working experience with programming languages like Python or Go.

  • Working experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Pulumi…

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline or 10+ years of previous technical experience (possibly a bit less but also possibly a lot more) , specifically security architecture experience.
