Job description

Real Estate Project Manager - Europe - L’Oréal

L’Oréal’s Real Estate Department plays a pivotal role in supporting the company’s global operations, managing a vast portfolio of 4 million m² across 70 countries. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Project Manager to join our European team, based in the Paris region. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a 360° view of L’Oréal’s diverse businesses and real estate activities across France and Europe.

Your Mission:

Working closely with the Real Estate Europe Director, you will contribute to the implementation of L’Oréal’s Real Estate Policy within the European zone. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Portfolio Management & Needs Assessment: Oversee the real estate portfolio for each country within your scope, understanding the strategic challenges of internal clients and identifying their evolving needs. Formalize the strategic rationale for real estate projects.
  • Project Analysis & Negotiation: Analyze and negotiate all aspects of real estate projects, including architectural, technical, workplace design, sustainability, financial, and legal considerations. Develop compelling business cases in collaboration with financial directors and the real estate department. Prepare investment proposals for project approvals.
  • Project Execution & Coordination: Lead and coordinate internal and external project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design and construction to delivery and post-delivery, including fit-out phases. Ensure seamless collaboration and communication across all stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including various functions within the Real Estate Department (finance, legal, workplace, construction, retail, laboratory), General Management teams, and Campus teams. Manage relationships with external partners such as brokers, advisors, developers, owners, and contractors.
