Inside the French CMO Team, composed of 40+ great experts and personalities, you’ll integrate the “booming” Data team, composed of 6 people (DS, DE, PMO and Head of Data profiles), as well as some external consultants. Being part of that team is probably one of the best opportunity to be at the cornerstone of where tomorrow’s L’Oréal growth is!
As a Data Scientist working in the Data CMO team, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise in Machine Learning, solving problems with high business impact and deploying models at scale, all while using cutting-edge technologies…
What a day in the life of the Data Analyst’ team looks like:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Analyze functional requirements, formalize their technical translations and undertake the corresponding analytics solution and model developments
• Propose technical and sustainable solutions and support the generation of insights
• Identify and manage structured and unstructured information and considers information distribution policies
• Draw-up and/or supervise the documentation in compliance with the defined norms and standards
• Perform corrective/scalable maintenance of analytics models,
• Participate in the definition of the business case, cost model and overall objectives for the project/program
• Define and monitor the project/program plan, budget, KPIs and metrics, activities, methodologies, resource and responsibilities allocation (internal/external)
• Use knowledge of analytics trends, developments and practices to improve service
• Supervise the content and ensure its overall quality (if applicable)

Data-related technical skills
• Data Visualization: Looker, PowerBI, Tableau
• Interacting with Databases: SQL
• Strong Excel skills
• ETL softwares: Talend, Informatica, Dataiku, Knime
• Programming languages: Python, R (Nice to have)
• Understand Machine Learning algorithm (Nice to have)
• Translation of business needs into processes and IT evolutions and design of functional requirements
