What’s it about? You’ll be our go-to DWH expert, responsible for building and optimizing ETL pipelines from diverse sources (think SAP, Oracle NetSuite, web APIs and similar) into our MSSQL-based Data Warehouse. More than that, you’ll have a hand in shaping the future of our Data Architecture, particularly as we move to the cloud.
Your daily duties
Data Extraction and Integration
Extract data from various sources into the DWH while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Develop and optimize ETL processes for seamless integration.
Source Data Analysis
Analyze source data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide insights.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources and transformations.
Stakeholder communication
Communicate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and provide updates.
Translate business needs into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strategic Initiatives
Contribute to new Data Architecture landscape design in cloud.
Provide expert insights on crucial decisions related to data migration, technical patterns and selecting proper platforms and toolset.
Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Proven experience in implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Good knowledge of DWH patterns and principles.
Solid knowledge of MSSQL and T-SQL.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication in Czech or Slovak (C1 level or native) and English (B2 min.) with advanced interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with BI/DWH implementation in cloud (MS Fabric, Snowflake, Databrics)
Familiarity with SAP or S/4 HANA
Knowledge of Spark or Python
