Job description

Klara is a leading, multi industry, employee development SaaS platform, designed to enable large organisations to enhance their employees’ experience. It makes managing even the most complex talent, training programmes and management reviews and routines simple. We exist to supercharge the primary asset of any company, their talent.

The company is growing rapidly, having secured €4.5m in Series A funding in October 2023. In only 4 years, Klara has gone from just two co-founders to a team of 45 staff, with offices in Paris and London.

Team & Role:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will play a critical role in driving lead generation and contributing to our revenue growth. Working as part of the Klara UK Sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential sales opportunities. This is an exciting, front line role, perfect for someone who is motivated, resilient, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

The day to day:

• Qualifying inbound leads to determine their fit and readiness for further engagement

• Proactively generating new leads through multiple channels including, email, cold calling, social media, and events

• Scheduling meetings for the sales team, ensuring a steady pipeline of BANT qualified opportunities

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and activities in our CRM system, HubSpot

• Monitoring and reporting on key metrics, including the number of leads generated, meetings set, and conversion rates.

Salary: £competitive - dependant on experience

OTE (uncapped): £competitive


Preferred experience

• You have 1+ years of experience in a sales/business development role, preferably within a SaaS environment

• You have sold at C-Level to medium or large enterprise organisations

• You have strong prospecting and lead generation skills

• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• You have proficiency in using CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and other sales tools such as Sales Navigator and Cognism

• You have the ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude

• You are highly organised, with strong time management skills

• You have a data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
