Job description

As a Solution Engineer, you’ll be a key player in converting enterprise prospects into long-term Ocus partners. Working closely with our Sales, Product, Engineering and CSM teams, you’ll bridge the gap between technology and business needs, demonstrating how Ocus solutions drive ROI and operational efficiency for clients.

Engage & Qualify: Partner with Account Executives to assess prospects & client needs and build tailored solution proposals being the main point of contact for external facing technical questions of customers or prospect.

Demo & Present: Conduct compelling product demos and technical deep dives, showing how Ocus drives impact.

Customize & Prototype: Work with Product & Engineering to adapt solutions to specific client challenges.

Respond to RFPs & Pilots: Drive the technical sales process by preparing proposals and pilots. Support prospects and customers in defining success criteria and manage internal project coordination to ensure regular follow-ups throughout the RFP and pilot cycles until contract signing.

Market & Competitor Insights: Stay on top of industry trends and provide feedback to improve our offerings.

Support Sales Enablement: Develop pitch materials, case studies, and best practices to accelerate deal cycles.

Preferred experience

Pre-Sales Experience: 3+ years in a technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions consulting role (B2B SaaS preferred).

Sales Mindset: Ability to uncover pain points, articulate value, and drive urgency in the buying process to serve as an effective client liaison. Must communicate using sales-oriented language and simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Tech-Savvy: Master technical implementation, including our APIs, their usage, and limitations (no coding required, but technical fluency is key) to serve as an effective engineering team liaison.

Project Management: Fully autonomous & rigorous in managing projects end-to-end—knows who to ask, when to ask, when to pivot, and can be trusted to successfully launch a pilot or contract.

Excellent Communicator: Strong presentation, storytelling and smooth stakeholder management skills.

Problem-Solver: You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where adaptability is key.

Bonus: Experience in visual content, AI-driven products, or marketplace business models.
