The position

Job description

What you will be doing...

  • The core part of your job will be providing administrative support to your colleagues within the HR Operations team 
  • Support with onboarding new employees incl. collecting documents from them and filing them
  • Offer a high-touch engagement as new employees onboard to Pure, engaging with upcoming hires through their first day at Pure while coordinating with internal stakeholders (IT, Facilities, Payroll, etc.) and handling of HR documentation (immigration, background checks, etc.).
  • Be the "Initial Engagement point of Pure HR" as you onboard new hires virtually or in-person  and interface with HR Business Partners and people managers to help facilitate employee exits.
  • Through Pure's employee ticketing system - PERC, powered by ServiceNow – get involved in managing a daily caseload of basic inquiries across a limited spectrum of topics and inquiries (employee life cycle and its changes, etc.).
  • Interact with Pure's HR information system - Workday - to transact, track, and audit high-volume transactions from onboarding to exit via the PERC ticketing system, while leveraging professional communications with candidates and managers.
  • When appropriate, escalates complex topics to senior team members in a timely manner, with an eye towards identifying and implementing a solution

What you bring to the team:  HR Operations Specialist

  • At least some experience in customer service, preferably in HR 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Understands the concepts of process improvement and how to identify and recommend 'new ways of doing things'
  • Ability to work across time zones and comfortable in a virtual work environment through Zoom meetings
  • Team player and demonstrates a positive, 'can do' attitude - willingness to roll up your sleeves and be excited to contribute in all parts of the Pure employee experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of individuals
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills to thrive in a fast paced, always changing environment
  • Willingness to work with confidential information
  • Ability to adapt quickly and prioritize with a high sense of urgency
  • Pluses:  Any experience with Workday (or other HR Information System) and/or ServiceNow (or other enterprise ticketing system), knowledge of any other European language besides fluent English
