About Sonio

Each year, 140M children are born. Birth defects affect 1 in 33 births in developed countries, and in 50% of cases, they are not detected during prenatal examinations. Prenatal medicine is particularly complex, and the scans impose heavy responsibilities on healthcare professionals. They can also be a source of stress for future parents.

Resulting from 5 years of collaboration between world-renowned experts from Necker Hospital and Ecole Polytechnique, Sonio uses artificial intelligence to improve prenatal screening and diagnosis. Based on patented algorithms and a proprietary expert database, Sonio aims to become the reference tool to help practitioners improve screening, reduce diagnostic errors, and optimize pregnant women’s medical path.

Sonio's mission is to improve women's and children's health by promoting access and quality of care through technological innovation, medical expertise, and collective intelligence.

About the role

We seek an experienced and detail-oriented QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance efforts. The QA Manager will ensure that all our products meet the highest quality standards, comply with regulations, and provide the best experience to our customers. This is a super opportunity to join a mission-driven company and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our offerings as the first QA Manager.

Quality Assurance Leadership

  • Define and implement QA strategies, frameworks, and best practices for manual and automated testing.

  • Lead efforts to improve test coverage, quality, and performance metrics.

  • Act as the primary advocate for quality across the engineering and product teams.

Test Planning and Execution

  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our applications.

  • Ensure thorough functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Automation Development

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts

  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.

Release Management

  • Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases.

  • Implement and enforce processes to ensure smooth and efficient release cycles.

  • Conduct post-release testing and analysis to identify any quality gaps or areas for improvement.


Preferred experience

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline).

  • Proven experience in a QA leadership role in software industries.

  • Experience with testing tools, frameworks, and automation methodologies.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to get people on board and change management.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Location: Paris

Salary: depending on your experience, 65-80K€ + 10%
