The position

Job description

  • Develop and execute business development plans to grow sales in the Western US
    * Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers and stakeholders in biopharma, oncology and microbiology markets
    - Generate new leads, manage the sales pipeline and achieve or exceed sales targets
    * Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful campaigns and product promotions, and to inform the company of market trends and needs
    * Provide product demonstrations and training to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of Stilla’s digital PCR solutions
    * Represent Stilla Technologies at relevant conferences and commercial events.
    - Work closely with Field Application Scientist(s) to ensure customer success, proficiency and satisfaction.

Preferred experience

  • Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or equivalent industry experience
    - Minimum 3 years professional sales experience in life science tools and/or diagnostic products across research, clinical research, and translational segments. Preferably with domain knowledge from the BioPharma/Pharma industry.
    * Experience selling digital PCR, qPCR, next generation sequencing technologies or relevant product required.
    * Excellent scientific and interpersonal communication skills, both verbally and written.
    * Relevant experience in early-stage and fast paced start-up environments.
    - Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, and capable of working independently to drive business goals.
    * Hands-on, consultative, results-oriented sales approach.
    - Ability to travel up to 50%
    Below is the salary range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, commission, and experience. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.

    Base Salary Range - $90,000 - $120,000 US
