We have achieved a lot in the first 10 years! 🚀
After several years of developing our project and the viability of our model, we accelerated the roll-out of our solution with a fundraising campaign in 2022. We invested in a lot of new talents. Everything that made up our implicit brand identity when we were 20, had to be restructured as we grew to 80!
This rapid growth brought more challenges:
This rapid growth has led us to perfect our values, so that we do not lose our bearings and remain focused on the vision. In doing so, we defined the following four values, that shape everyday life at UMI and are the pillars of our corporate culture:
These values and the richness and diversity of each individual guide and unite us towards a common goal.
I know how to recognize, rejoice in and appreciate the successes of others and the team.
I love what I do. I turn a problem into a project.
I’m open to learning from others and developing my skills.
I give my best every day.
In 2022, we set up a CSR Committee to address issues such as parity in the company, ecology and the solidarity economy. We prioritize women's rights: almost half of UMI's workforce is made up of women, but we are aware that this is still rare (especially in digital professions). By working with the LDigital association, UMI promotes awareness and support for women in digital professions, both at school and in their professional development.

In May 2022, UMI participated in the “Mai à Vélo” challenge! The goal was to cover as many kilometers as possible during the month. The routes followed by cyclists will then allow cities to better understand travel behavior and improve cycling routes.
Many UMI employees come to work by bike, and cycling trips are often organized. The competition was a great success: with 4,145 kilometers covered, we placed 3rd in our category!
