Job description

Role and organization

Based at our head office in Paris and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, your role as VP of Marketing will be to lead the department with both a strong strategic vision and the ability to execute efficiently on a day-to-day basis. We are looking for a versatile and pragmatic leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You should be able to quickly identify challenges and find creative solutions, all while relying on your team for support. The team currently consists of 3 people, with plans to expand as the company grows.
While you will need to directly handle some aspects of the marketing strategy and operations, you will also rely on your team to execute many tasks. You will guide, challenge, and mentor your team to ensure the right direction, alignment, and quality of work.

    Key responsibilities

    Strategy and leadership

      • Own and refine the Go-To-Market strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
      • Provide leadership to the marketing team, translating strategic goals into actionable tasks, and offering guidance and feedback when needed
      • Develop processes and tools to track ROI and optimize performance
      • Collaborate closely with other VPs (Sales, CSM, and Product) to ensure alignment across departments and that campaigns meet cross-functional needs

      Growth, Pipeline Generation & Upsell

        • Design and scale growth strategies for both existing and new markets, in an Enterprise B2B market
        • Own the full marketing funnel with one goal: generate a high-quality pipeline (inbound and outbound) and convert leads into paying customers
        • Monitor lead conversion throughout the pipeline, adjusting marketing activities to optimize the lead cycle, closing rates, potential MRR, and overall company objectives

        Digital Marketing

          • Oversee the digital strategy (website, SEO, LinkedIn) and tools (CRM, analytics, CMS)
          • Continuously optimize the website's content, structure, and SEO to stay ahead of competitors, regularly benchmarking against industry standards
          • Manage the relationship with the external agency for more technical topics related to the website such as technical SEO

          Content, Communication & Events

            • Lead content creation (in both English and French) for various marketing channels with the ability to produce content personally (e.g.: LinkedIn posts)
            • Develop effective sales enablement materials to support Sales, CSM, and PDM teams in promoting the platform
            • Manage the end-to-end process of events, from booking to execution, including logistics and catering for both networking events and larger conferences

            Product Marketing

            • Develop a proactive approach, to highlight key product features, driving value and customer stickiness for our platform
            • Work closely with the product team to align content with the product roadmap, distributing visuals, videos, and other media to the right audience
            • Partner with CSM to track and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities by promoting the right features to the right customers

            Team Empowerment

            • Own the marketing department’s budget, making data-driven decisions on hiring and resource allocation based on company priorities and strategy
            • Lead, mentor, and develop your team, empowering them to reach their full potential as top performers
            • Foster cross-functional collaboration by helping implement processes and ensuring effective communication between teams (Sales, CSM, Product, etc.)
            • Lead by example, balancing strategic vision with practical execution

            Key requirements & expectations

            • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a marketing leadership role, with both strategic and operational expertise
            • Proven experience in the B2B SaaS domain, particularly within the Enterprise segment
            • A generalist VP who is both strategic and operational, ready to dive into any challenge, find practical solutions quickly, and adapt to evolving business needs
            • Comfortable with a hands-on approach, willing to roll up sleeves and address both high-level and day-to-day operational challenges
            • Deep understanding of global go-to-market strategies in competitive SaaS landscapes
            • Strong brand ambassador skills, including the ability to write compelling LinkedIn posts and represent the brand externally
            • Fluent in both English and French

            Key Hiring Process

            • Screening interview
            • Case study
            • Meeting with VP Sales and marketing team
            • Last interview with Founder & CEO
