Gregoire is one of the 4 co-founders of Worldia. After enjoying his studies to discover Asia and South America, he starts his carreer in sports bettings before meeting his associates. Their shared passion for travel does the rest and they launch Worldia to offer the best possible experience at every stage of a journey!
His best travel memory? 10 days out of time between the Atacama Desert in Peru and the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia.
Born and raised in the Hauts-de-France region, Matthieu first moved abroad and then to Paris after completing a dual degree in engineering and business school, followed by a master's in Program Management.
Software design has been the common thread throughout his professional journey, leading him to explore various fields such as multi-channel online sales, industrial logistics, online training, corporate telephony, and now, travel.
His best travel memory? Discovering the East Coast of Australia, from the comfort and diversity of the big cities like Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, to the natural beauty of the Sunshine Coast.
Born in Paris, Magda has been immersed in the startup scene since completing her Master’s degree at La Sorbonne. Passionate about numbers and research, she applied her skills at Getaround and Qonto, where she contributed to the development and analysis of effective CRM strategies.
Her arrival at Worldia in 2024 marks an exciting new challenge for her. Detail-oriented and a perfectionist, she firmly believes that customer satisfaction is at the heart of any company’s success. Magda is determined to create unique and memorable customer experiences for everyone. The startup world and her love for travel, two passions that converge at Worldia, where she found a stimulating and enriching work environment.
Her best travel memory is undoubtedly her time in Tokyo, where she had the chance to play baseball on a rooftop in the middle of the night! An adventure that perfectly captures the energy of this city that never sleeps and aligns with her own dynamic nature.
Graduating as an engineer in 2015, Laetitia first honed her skills as a back-end developer for a year and a half, working on internal tools such as CRM, translation tools, and content management for a mobile app.
In February 2017, she joined the Worldia adventure, continuing as a back-end developer within a small tech team of six. As the company grew, the team expanded, and its organization evolved, with the introduction of feature teams and management roles. Today, she serves as the engineering manager for two of the four feature teams.
Her favorite travel memory is from Corsica, where she explored stunning landscapes. It was an extraordinary adventure that left her with unforgettable memories.
Jonathan is a French and Spanish national who grew up in Barcelona, spent his youth in the South of France, and completed his studies in Nantes, at Audencia Business School, where he also had the opportunity to live in China and the United States.
Jonathan is passionate about travel, international business development, and building successful partnerships. After several sales leadership roles in technology companies, Jonathan joined Worldia in 2022 to boost its unique combination of technology and travel into new markets. Worldia’s values of ambition, pleasure and integrity, combined with its innovative approach to travel have really resonated with Jonathan, and he has helped Worldia gain successful partners in Spain, the United States and the United Kingdom.
His favorite trip has been a 3-week trip journey around Uzbekistan, where he has enjoyed discovering the wonders of the ancient silk roads, fascinated by the unique architectures and monuments of Samarkand, Boukhara and Khiva, while making amazing memories for a lifetime.
After finishing her Masters in Journalism and French, Aja moved to Paris and joined her first start-up. It was a company offering high-end guided tours, which they launched from scratch.
Aja learned the principles of marketing, international business and product sourcing which helped her pave the path towards larger corporations. She later joined the Galeries Lafayette group, where she was in charge of the European market. Three years later, at BHV Marais, she created the International Clients Department, took over the 60-member Customer Service team and ultimately became a board member.
In 2020 Aja joined the Worldia adventure, and today holds the position of CMO Marketing.
Her best travel memory? An adrenaline rally car driving on ice in the Finnish arctic !
Hospitality, airline company, tour operator, it is quite simple, Tourism is a passion to David. His last experience in leading a travel agencies' network nurtured the idea of Worldia. All that was needed was to meet his partners and the adventure could begin.
What drives David? Offering the best possible service to his clients!
His best travel memory? Without a doubt, Cambodia, thanks to an unforgettable visit with a tour guide who had lived through the oppression of the Khmer Rouge. He made David and his family discover his country with great enthusiasm and sensitivity
Of Russian-Armenian origin, Daiana came to France to pursue her higher education in hospitality in Bordeaux and later in Chambéry. She moved to Paris to join the Accor Group, where she started working as a Multi-Hotel Revenue Manager.
Continuing her career trajectory in the hospitality industry, she took on the role of Assistant Director, where she discovered a passion for Operations. In 2022, Daiana joined the Worldia team in the operations department, taking on the management of the After-Sales team.
Her best travel memory? The discovery of Lake Baikal in March, its tranquility and vastness.
After studying in countries near and far, such as Thailand, Indonesia, the Netherlands and England, Lisa initially joined the Travel Industry, creating holidays for the super rich. For 5 years she enjoyed the English countryside and the local customs of having Sunday Roast’s, before home was calling for her.
Lucky for us, Lisa wanted to return to Germany and decided to join Worldia, where she initially took charge of the first german accounts before overseeing the overall sales development of non french speaking markets.
To her, team work and never taking yourself too seriously is the best way to get work done whilst also enjoying yourself. In her free time Lisa has not quite lost her affiliation with England and still loves spending time there whenever possible, walking the Cotswolds with her family, friends and her little rescue dog.
Her best travel memory? Diving with Manta Rays, off the Island of Flores in Indonesia.
Christian, he's the IT Master. After studying business, he joined PwC as a financial auditor. Reaching a management position in transaction services after 5 years, he decided to change career paths and to focus on one of his childhood hobbies: software development.
For him, Worldia is the human and entrepreneurial dimension of adventure. Always elevate and build team skills is his mantra. He is charge of the development of our product and shaping new features for our users. With family or friends, Christian likes road-trips, countryside weekends and sliding sports, summer and winter.
His best travel memories are mexican margaritas and sunsets.
Born in South Korea, after master in film studies at Panthéon Sorbonne, Hwa-Seon began working in the film industry, travelling through cities of films like Cannes, Berlin, London, etc, which gave her a first taste of travel.
After glorious years in film industry, she took courses in 2016 to become web developer which was one of her long-time interest and knew at her first work at Fédération Française d'Equitation that she was interested in backend job rather than frontend and continued her carrier as a backend developer in a pure Saas startup company before joining Worldia in 2020.
Hwa-Seon likes fictions happening in Nordic countries, the greatness of high mountains and exploring culinary world.
Her best travel memory? A mix of two different universes, road trip in greyish Scotland under the sublime and lonely landscape with lambs and lochs and then continued the trip to Marrakech for sunny relaxation !
Born in the suburbs of Paris, Alison quickly exiled herself in search of sunshine in Marseille to pursue her graduate studies at Euromed Management.
After some experience in the media (Havas, Prisma Media) she made her debut as a commercial in a recruitment firm specialized in tech. Then, she decides to join the Worldia adventure whose concept and philosophy are in harmony with its own values and desires: travel, innovation, fun and ambition! She enters as a business developer, quickly assembles her team and becomes sales manager to finally take the position of Head of Sales after 3 years.
Her best travel memory? Crossing Nicaragua in a backpack and having the chance to hit the Cerro Negro volcano on a surfboard or swimming in the Laguna de Apoyo, a splendid lake nestled in the middle of a crater.

In 2013, Grégoire, David, Christian and Erwan, 4 entrepreneurs passionate about travel, decided to embark on a great adventure and create a new generation platform, which allows travel distributors to offer custom trips. 11 years later, they have grown from 4 travelers enthusiasts to over 175 employees in Paris and Berlin to create the best trips together and become, the next generation connected trip operator, empowering travel distributors to offer custom trips!
After raising €25M in 2023, Worldia is scaling up with a number of exciting projects: the deployment of the new version of the platform, new business partnerships and international expansion!
