The VP of Engineering will lead the entire engineering organization (developers, QA, SRE, architects) in an international environment, defining and executing the technical vision and strategy while building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
This role is a key member of the leadership team, working directly with the C-suite to drive company success through technical excellence and innovation.
The VP of Engineering will report to the CPTO and be responsible for the overall success of the engineering function.

Define and execute the company’s technical vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities
Drive technological innovation while maintaining operational excellence and system reliability
Develop and manage the engineering organization’s budget and resource allocation
Establish and monitor key technical and organizational metrics that demonstrate engineering impact on business outcomes
Build, lead, and scale a world-class engineering organization across multiple domains (Frontend, Backend, Infrastructure, QA)
Oversee and mentor 2 Engineering Directors and senior technical leaders, ensuring their growth and success.
Define the engineering organizational structure and evolution as the company scales Collaborate with People/HR leadership to develop competitive compensation strategies and career frameworks.
Drive engineering culture and values that promote innovation, excellence, and continuous learning.
Lead strategic hiring initiatives and organizational design decisions.
Establish engineering brand and represent the company externally at conferences, tech talks, and industry events
Own the technical architecture vision and ensure its proper implementation across all engineering teams
Make critical technical decisions that impact the company’s long-term success and scalability
Ensure proper technical governance, security, and compliance across all engineering initiatives
Drive standardization and best practices across engineering teams
Oversee technical debt management and system modernization efforts
Establish and optimize engineering processes, methodologies, and tools across the organization
Drive engineering productivity improvements and efficiency initiatives
Ensure proper project prioritization and resource allocation across teams
Oversee delivery of major technical initiatives and critical projects
Manage engineering operational costs and optimize team efficiency
Define and monitor engineering SLAs, KPIs, and success metrics
Partner closely with Product leadership to ensure successful execution of product roadmap
Work with Sales and Customer Success to understand and address customer technical needs
Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, headcount planning, and cost management
Partner with Security and Legal teams on compliance and risk management
Partner with other C-level executives to identify and capitalize on technical opportunities that drive business growth
Participate in leadership-level decision-making, contributing to company-wide strategy and growth initiatives
15+ years of engineering experience with at least 8+ years in senior engineering leadership roles
Proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations (50+ engineers)
Strong technical background with broad knowledge across multiple technical domains
Experience leading engineering at a high-growth technology company
Track record of successful delivery of large-scale technical initiatives
Strong understanding of modern software development practices and methodologies
Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and scalable architectures
Outstanding leadership presence and executive communication skills
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
Proven ability to build and mentor high-performing leadership teams
Ability to balance technical excellence with business pragmatism
Experience in change management and organizational transformation
