There's no set career path at Astraveus. However, there are plenty of opportunities for advancement! Given our ambition, the team is constantly evolving. Today, the R&D team is recruiting complementary profiles and offers internal development opportunities towards roles of manager or technical expert. Similarly, we are gradually building up the support and business functions, which are expected to expand rapidly. Given our company's development towards the market launch of the Lakhesys™ benchtop cell factory, one thing is for sure: There will be plenty of opportunities to explore and support our growth!

I was recruited to Astraveus as a mechanical engineer, and my role soon expanded to include various modeling, simulation and design projects. It was intense work, but incredibly rewarding to see our simulations materialize into real solutions. Over the months, I progressed to become responsible for microfluidic chip production, and then manager of an entire department. It was an exciting new challenge to be able to coordinate a team and manage large-scale projects. Today, our aim is to gradually move towards a fully automated factory. It's an ambitious project that requires a lot of strategic thinking and organization, but it's exciting to help shape the company's future!

Team Breakfast: every Monday morning, a 15-minute briefing is organized with all employees to share the past week's successes and important information. This is followed by a collective breakfast to get the week off to a good start.

Monthly meeting: The aim of these meetings is to share the general progress of the project and its future direction. It also enables each team to present its results and current issues, discuss organizational updates and share perspectives with each other.

Team building: we organize a team building afternoon every quarter, following a monthly meeting (escape game, workshop, cocktail, etc.).

Cohesion week: every year, we take a 5-day train trip to the sun. The program: Nurture trust and enjoy the time together!
