Within Schneider Digital's Global Function and its Digital Customer Relationship (DCR) department, which aims to provide an end-to-end digital experience for our customers and front-office teams, we are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect.The DCR Architecture team is a cross-functional team supporting all DCR business areas in building tomorrow's digital landscape based on sustainable architecture incorporating innovative technologies.Your role:The role of the Enterprise Data Architect will be to design sustainable solutions for storing, transporting, transforming, and exposing data related to different business domains, and to ensure compliance with governance rules (security, authoritative sources, authoritative provisioning point). The Enterprise Data Architect supports solution architects and platform owners in managing the lifecycle of their data by liaising with external bodies (data@scale).Your main responsibilities:
- Provide expert support in data architecture for key DCR data projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and governance rules (data golden rules, best practices in enterprise architecture).
- Support capacity architects in providing optimal data solutions for projects and identify opportunities for data alignment and reuse.
- Coordinate the adaptation of the current architecture to Schneider's digital architecture standards and best practices, aiming for cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop a DCR data architecture repository (data catalog, data lineage, data governance, data modeling, data security, etc.).
- Promote the DCR data architecture repository.
- Oversee end-to-end data lifecycle management activities.
- Propose and conduct studies related to emerging technologies in the data domain.
You are:A graduate engineer or Master's in Computer Science with
over 15 years of professional experience, including over 5 years as an enterprise architect focusing on data-related issues (management, modeling, engineering, integration, analysis, etc.).
And you have the following skills or experiences:- Strong experience in data management, data integration, and database development techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of major architecture frameworks (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF, CESAM…).
- Experience in modeling (UML), processing, and transforming complex data.
- Knowledge of system development, including system development lifecycle, project management approaches, and specification, design, and testing techniques.
- Leadership and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams.
- Ability to link architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs.
- Knowledge of data governance tools (Collibra).
- You speak English fluently.
