We work under a hybrid model, with offices located in the heart of Paris and Montreal. We enjoy working together in person, and have great flexibility around schedules.
Employees can take part in a competitive stock option program at a growing company.
All employees gather together once per year for a two-week summit with team-building activities and product workshops.
Public transportation and bicycle rental/upkeep costs are partially reimbursed for all employees.
All employee spend at least one business day volunteering every other month.
We are a fast-growing start-up (we triple in size every year), and therefore have, by nature, new opportunities that are constantly being created. Our culture of initiative and autonomy is part of being a very horizontal company. There are currently 35 of us, and there is only one level of management. We have a structure where each employee has a lot of freedom and little managerial control to encourage initiative.
Beyond the structure, we try to do our best to keep our talent. For example, our first-ever employee follows an adjusted schedule because she is also a professional volleyball player.
I started working at Zeffy in June 2020 as a content intern. By September 2020, I had become the first employee in customer success. Initially, the role was dedicated to support, but as the company scaled, I was trusted to create and automate our processes. During that time, I added a customer success and account management aspect to the role while working closely with the product team.
As of June 2022, I am now a full-time product manager which is my second promotion in two years. At Zeffy, we trust each other a lot, which allow each individual to own multiple initiatives and provide the maximum impact.
At Zeffy, our culture of flexibility, feedback, and personal initiative drives skill development. Feedback is essential: everyone is encouraged to offer honest, constructive input to help each other grow.
We place a strong emphasis on autonomy. If someone feels the need for training, they simply talk to their manager, and we're there to support them. Several of our employees have already moved internally, with career changes that we have fully supported.

Each year, the entire team meets for a two-week summit in France or Canada. While the main objective of this summit is for teams to meet and better understand the roles of their colleagues across the Atlantic, it is also about collectively reflecting on our challenges, our vision, and our values.
More frequently, our weekly All Hands meeting aims to be the forum for transparent information sharing. Transparency is of the utmost importance to us, and that’s why all of Zeffy's figures are known by all employees across all teams.
Finally, our commitment is not just on the online side of things. Every other month, we volunteer as a team for a local organization. And of course, happy hour is not out of the question after the work gets done!
