As Manager - International Operations, you work closely with Sophie, 42’s CEO, on the management of the network of 42 campuses (currently 56 in 32 countries, with a goal of reaching 200 in the coming years). Skilled at seamlessly navigating between strategy and operations, you are equally able and interesting in managing internal matters and engaging with international partners (businesses, governments, donors, etc.).
On a daily basis, your responsibilities include:
Providing operational support for the strategic vision of the management team and facilitating its implementation.
Co-leading the teams dedicated to managing the campus network.
Ensuring reporting, effective communication, and information sharing at all levels.
Overseeing key projects from definition to implementation.
Conducting analyses to enable informed decision-making and identifying potential bottlenecks.
Establishing appropriate processes for 42, taking into account the organization’s specificities.
Additionally, you contribute to fostering a culture of sharing, collaboration, cooperation, and adherence to 42’s core values throughout the campus network. Occasionally traveling abroad for campus visits, you can take part in negotiations with network partners and support the development of partnerships. You may also represent 42 internationally for specific occasions.
With strong interpersonal skills, you support all teams, particularly managers, in achieving their goals by playing a facilitative role.
At least three successful experiences in project management, including on strategic topics and/or business development
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information and engage all teams on projects
Good negotiation skills, including on financial matters
Strong data analysis capabilities to support decision-making
Leadership qualities
At least one experience in team management
Bilingual in French and English; a third language is a plus
