About

As Quality Assurance at Connecting Food, you will be a key player in enhancing our product quality and ensuring a seamless user experience. Reporting to the tech department, you will work closely with product, development, and support teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and resolve issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your QA skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Your work will help ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality, supporting the overall success of Connecting Food.

Responsibilities

  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on functional specification and design documents. Execute test scripts and provide comprehensive test reports for each application.

  • Requirement Analysis: Review functional specifications and design documents to ensure all requirements are testable and clearly understood.

  • Automation & Process Improvement: Actively participate in the automation process and continuously seek ways to enhance and streamline testing procedures.

  • Defect Management: Report and record defects and bugs promptly, assess their priority and severity, and ensure resolved issues are closed effectively.

  • Quality Monitoring: Provide regular follow-ups on application quality, identifying issues, and delivering qualified reports. Ensure that action plans are on track and optimized.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product, tech, and customer teams to ensure alignment and effective resolution of issues. Translate technical issues and solutions into understandable summaries for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve the QA process, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our quality assurance practices.

  • Activity Reporting: Maintain precise and reliable reporting of QA activities and client interactions using current tools (Confluence/JIRA, etc.).

    Your tasks will include:

    • Test Plan Development: Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.

    • Functional & Regression Testing: Conduct functional and regression testing to ensure new features and updates meet quality standards.

    • Defect Reporting: Document defects, prioritize their severity, and follow up on resolutions to ensure timely closure.

    • Automation: Support and improve the automation of testing processes.

    • Quality Reporting: Regularly report on the status of application quality, highlighting any issues and recommending solutions.

    • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate testing outcomes, issues, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Process Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements to the QA process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.


Profil recherché

  • At least one previous experience in a QA position.

  • Mandatory: speaks English (minimum working proficiency) and French (minimum B2).

  • Data driven, structured, and collaborative.

  • Autonomous yet team-oriented, with a collaborative spirit.
