Digital Sustainability Intern

L’Oréal wants to reach its aggressive decarbonization commitments, and digital will have a DECISIVE role to play.

You will contribuate to build on the strong vision and frame which relates on 3 fundamental pillars: Sustainable Digital & Tech, transforming ourselves and moving within our planetary boundaries.

Empowering our business eco-system and leading the transition to a more sustainable digital and tech future.

spearheading efforts to decarbonize our digital activities, including media, content creation, and influencer marketing. Excited to contribute to our L’Oréal for the Future commitments and innovate in this critical space!

You’ll manage the following missions :

You’re passionate about making a difference, and so are we. We’re deeply invested in fighting climate change, engaging consumers in sustainability journey, and ensuring our advertising and communication are responsible and impactful.

Focus on the following digital areas :

- Methodology Adjustment: Supporting the development and implementation of new methods for measuring and tracking carbon emissions across Digital activations.

- Content Production: exploring innovative approaches to minimize environmental impact.

- Digital Media Activation: Analyzing the carbon footprint of different media channels and exploring levers to reduce.

- Supplier Enablement: Collaborating to promote sustainable practices and reduce emissions throughout the value chain.

- Influencers: Researching and engaging with influencers to amplify L’Oréal’s message and inspire positive action.

‘- Passion for Sustainability: You are deeply committed to environmental responsibility and eager to contribute to a more sustainable future for the beauty industry.

- Trendspotter & Problem-Solver: You have a knack for identifying emerging trends in digital Sustainability and developing innovative solutions to complex challenges.

- digital Enthusiast: You are passionate about the digital world and eager to explore how technology can be leveraged to minimize environmental impact.

According to your team, here are examples of missions you will have to undertake:

  • Project Management - Animate, plan, execute, and monitor projects related to the environment or philanthropy.
  • Stakeholder Management - Establish and develop relationships with external associations or internal services, working closely with partners
  • Innovation and Benchmarks - Contribute to scaling up CSR initiatives and establish benchmarks to measure the impact and effectiveness of our actions, advancing our commitment to sustainability.
  • KPI Monitoring and International Reporting - Collaborate with all L’Oréal subsidiaries to monitor key performance indicators and produce international reports.


What do you need to apply?

  • You are seeking a gap-year or end-of-studies internship.
  • You can provide a 6-month internship agreement issued by your school.
  • Previous experience in the IT industry or a sustainability role is appreciated.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Familiarity with key concepts in the sustainability field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (M365).


If your application is selected, you will be invited to a telephone interview with a recruiter. This is an exploratory discussion to get to know you better and identify the job, the field, the division that best fits with your profile.

Last step if the exploratory interview is positive: you will have the opportunity to meet your potential future manager for a second and final interview to discuss the missions you will be given.
