The Director of Coordination in France will be working with SINGA Global and will be responsible for providing support and guidance to SINGA Chapters in France, fostering effective collaborations and partnerships, while also driving national fundraising strategies. 

This role will also involve implementing advocacy actions and promoting SINGA’s transformation into a citizen-driven organization capable of fostering change from the ground-up. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating the network of Chapters in France and ensuring their alignment with SINGA Global’s strategy.


Profil recherché

Responsibilities:

\=> Capacity Building and Crisis Prevention

  • Support SINGA Chapters in strengthening their capacity across various areas, including financial management, human resources, daily operations, and program implementation.

  • Ensure Chapters are on track and proactively address any potential crisis situations.

  • Provide guidance and resources to Chapters for continuous improvement and organizational development.

  • Work closely with the COO to reinforce M&E frameworks and structures for French Chapters, as well as implement a robust CRM. 

\=> Boosting and Coordinating Fundraising

  • Boost and coordinate national fundraising strategy for SINGA Global in collaboration with the CEO, COO, and Head of Fundraising and Partnership, and the French Chapters, to help French Chapters gain more financial capacity and stability. 

  • Explore and pursue national funding opportunities to support SINGA’s mission and secure multi-year funding commitments.

  • Collaborate with the Global and French Chapter teams to stay aligned on funding opportunities at different levels and implement a fundraising tracking tool.

  • Monitor the performance of French Chapters in reaching their objectives in regard to the commitments made to funders. 

  • Ensure coordination with teams working on supra-national funding to provide insights in the proposal drafting process on behalf of French Chapters, and at a later stage, ensure that the expectation of the funders are met by the French Chapters.  

    \=> Regional Collaboration and Partnership

  • Facilitate discussions and initiatives to establish effective partnerships, collaborations, and community engagement to enhance the activities of the chapter.

  • Identify and leverage opportunities for collaboration with key regional and national stakeholders, including NGOs, businesses, government agencies, and community organizations.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing among Chapters to drive collective impact.

\= > Share & Build Upon SINGA Network’s Innovations & Service Offerings:

  • Promote the signing of the Inclusion Charter by other partners and local authorities, as a means to expand our ecosystem of engaged partners, and encourage them to buy into our consulting activities developed by the person that will be heading our consulting firm (to be launched in 2025).

  • Communicate and align SINGA Global’s strategy with the French Chapters, ensuring a cohesive approach.

  • Keep SINGA Chapters up to date and plugged-in on the latest SINGA Global innovations, or any other innovations coming from Chapters in France or abroad. 

  • Coordinate collaborative projects to foster value creation and network cohesion. 

Governance and Reporting

The Director of Coordination in France will be expected to participate or manage the following meetings to better coordinate with the rest of the Global Team: 

  • Steering committee on the financial stability of the chapters. 

  • SINGA Chapter’s Coordination every two weeks.

  • Steering Committee on fundraising. 

The Director of Coordination in France is also expected to put in place the necessary coordination meetings to effectively pursue the work for this position, and the necessary reporting mechanisms to keep its primary counterparts informed and implicated. 

Key Success Indicators

Capacity Building and Crisis Prevention:

  • Percentage of Chapters proactively addressing and resolving potential crisis situations.

  • Feedback from Chapters on the quality and usefulness of guidance and resources provided.

  • Improvement in the overall capacity and performance of the French Chapters over time from a financial management, human resources, daily operations, and program implementation perspective.

Regional Collaboration and Partnership:

  • Number of effective partnerships and collaborations established at the regional and national level.

  • Success of joint initiatives and projects with key stakeholders and partners.

  • Number of knowledge sharing and collaboration activities conducted among Chapters.

Boosting and Coordinating Fundraising:

  • Total funds raised by the French Chapters through national fundraising efforts.

  • Number of successful grant applications and secured multi-year funding commitments.

  • Effective coordination and alignment of fundraising efforts between SINGA Global and the French Chapters.

Advocacy and Changing the Narrative:

  • Number of advocacy actions implemented and their impact on social inclusion and policy change.

  • Feedback from Chapters on the effectiveness of training and support provided for local advocacy strategies.

  • Adoption of SINGA’s narrative by allies and partners.

Share & Build Upon SINGA Network’s Innovations & Service Offerings:

  • Number of partners and local authorities that sign the Inclusion Charter.

  • Number of consulting activities sold to engaged partners.

  • Number of collaborative projects implemented and their contribution to value creation and network cohesion.

The Director of Coordination in France will be evaluated based on their ability to drive the success of SINGA’s activities in France, foster collaborations, secure funding, promote advocacy, and ensure effective coordination among internal counterparts and Chapters. The KPIs will help measure the impact and achievements in these areas and contribute to the overall growth and impact of SINGA. 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • No less than 7 years of experience. 

  • Proven experience in project management, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong understanding of social inclusion, migration, and diversity-related issues.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Perfect proficiency in French (oral and written) and English.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of the nonprofit sector and governance practices is a plus.
