The position

Job description

As an Account Executive within a team dedicated to a specific product line based on AI and computer vision, your main objective will be to demonstrate the value of this specific solution to existing clients and new one. As a consequence, your main duties will be to 

  • Actively prospect a portfolio of potential clients in close collaboration with Key Account Executive 
  • Upsell this specific solution to existing clients 
  • Participate in RFP/tenders in close collaboration with Key Account Executive and cross-functional teams (Deal desk, Legal, Product, etc.)
  • Build strong relationships with integrator and infrastructure providers 
  • Ensure sales profitability and achieve sales targets
  • Develop and maintain a strong network within the retail industry, at the highest level
  • Participate in client events and trade shows

 


Preferred experience

  • Successful experience (4/5 years) as an Account Executive, ideally in Retail, Software as a Service, AI, or Computer vision.
  • Bachelor or Master degree 
  • Proven sales track record
  • Familiarity with B2B technical sales cycle
  • Knowledge of the retail industry is a strong plus
  • Self-motivated with excellent relationship-building skills across company levels
  • Ability to identify solution value for clients and transforming this into additional sales
  • High level of personal drive and proactive work methods
  • Possess ability to prioritize the strategic tasks 
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and partners 
  • Able to communicate fluently in Italian and English

This role involves frequent travels in Italy and sometimes in other European countries.
