What we do

Join a team of passionate and hard working entrepreneurs to transform healthcare! Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams.

What you'll do

Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Business Performance Engineering department.

The Business Performance Engineering department is supporting all our business activity at Doctolib.

  • We provide tools to allow product engineering teams to more easily launch their products and features, through packaging them into sellable offers at varying price points.
  • We handle feature flagging based on price points, discounts & usage tracking for billing.
  • We look after content management systems to enable our growth teams to adapt our websites and content that aid discovery for our customers.
  • We own the extensive set of free products we offer to medical practitioners. 
  • We enable validation of identity & right to practice for medical practitioners, along with maintaining our central identity service used by all other teams.
  • We also support our large internal group of sellers in our sales department with CRM solutions to enable the complex sales cycles in the medical industry.
  • We own the onboarding & training for customers joining us for the first time.
  • Finally, we also enable our support team to provide world class support when any of our customers is in need.

Your role as Engineering Manager :

You will be both a technical leader and a people manager, coaching and training your team members while building an amazing engineering organization at Doctolib. In this role, you will:

  • Be directly in charge of a team of full
    -stack developers;
  • Manage and grow the performance and career of your team;
  • Ensure business objectives are met as a team, by driving performance of each team member;
  • Empower your team to build better products;
  • Set the roadmap for your team, and be the end
    -to
    -end owner of the team’s production, quality, and delivery;
  • Participate in code reviews and be hands
    -on if required;
  • Lead cross functional initiatives to up
    -level our engineering team;
  • Partner with Talent & People teams to recruit, develop and retain talent.

Who you are

  • Have 4+ years of people management experience with an engineering team;
  • Are eager to be hands on with our stack: we do use React, Ruby on Rails and NestJS (and we are happy to help you ramp up);
  • You understand the value of testing your code;
  • Have the ability to adapt to the most efficient technologies to solve issues;
  • Have proven experiences developing efficient, maintainable and secure products;
  • Are comfortable speaking English in your day by day with the team
