YOUR FUTURE TEAM

The Digital Transformation Department (DTD) of Research and Innovation (R&I) supports R&I Métiers in their digital transformation by relying on:
• Tech and digital expertise: IT, algorithms, data science, mechatronics, data management.
• Technical and digital platforms and tools.

IT R&I, within the DTD, is responsible for providing R&I laboratories with the tools and platforms for acquisition and sharing of data, on which these new working methods are based.

The objective of IT R&I is to be the most agile business partner to co-build the transformation of R&I

What a day in the life of the Business Architect team looks like:

The mission of business architects is to guarantee the coherent evolution of the entire information system to ensure its robustness and agile evolution.

The business architect is a facilitating partner for leaders of transformation, Projects, Products and Data for major and complex ambitions.

He or she defines, iteratively and in collaboration with the business and the teams responsible for transformation, the existing and target big picture of responsibilities and roadmaps for product and platform entities.

This allows to provide value iteratively without compromising on target ambitions.

Concretely, business architects:

• Support the identification, synthesis, and definition of Demands in partnership with the Business, qualify the requests in conjunction with Business managers before framing the initiatives (projects)
• Define the logical (functional) architecture of the initiatives, divide them into EPICs and Features in collaboration with the product team (framing phase)
• During the framing phase, manage the initiatives (in priority cross-functional initiatives), in order to guarantee the end-to-end vision between products and platforms
• Partner with product teams, platforms, and business managers to define their vision and roadmap: a business architect is associated with each product
• Define the IT blueprint, as-is and to-be

• Leadership ability to bring together stakeholders in the construction of solutions, in sharing and validating their solutions
• Analytical and synthetical mind
• Capacity for innovation
• Adaptability
• Good knowledge of IT project management, development experience
• Change Management experience appreciated
• Be fluent in written and spoken French
