Join the R&D teams to innovate within a Feature Team: Vegas.

Work in a challenging and constantly evolving Agile environment. You’ll be at the heart of the user experience for Meetic’s websites, developing features like improving member profiles, live streaming, and member events. You’ll be responsible for working with developers to ensure quality is embedded in the product from the start (shift-left approach). We’re looking for an Agile Tester.

Organization and Methodologies: Product Team, Scrum, Continuous Integration, A/B Testing, KPI-driven.

Our Tech Stack: React, Native Apps, PHP, Scala, Elasticsearch, Jira, Kubernetes, WebdriverIO (TypeScript + Mocha) + Browserstack.

Daily Responsibilities: At Meetic, we work around two main phases: "Prepare" and "Delivery."

Prepare: As a Quality Coach, you play a key role in anticipating development needs. You lead and participate in "3 Amigos" collaborative workshops to refine specifications before development. Familiarity with Example Mapping workshops would be a strong asset, as it enhances functional specifications with concrete examples, identifies edge cases, and ensures better test coverage. This step, crucial to Shift-Left Testing, helps maximize quality early in the development process.

Delivery: In this phase, you support the team. At Meetic, developers are responsible for testing based on acceptance criteria defined in the “Prepare” phase, with Agile Testers as support. After development, you will conduct exploratory testing based on your product expertise to validate the feature as a whole. You will also be in charge of creating and tracking anomaly and bug reports in Jira.

If you’re interested in advancing in automation, you’ll have the opportunity to help maintain and update automated tests covering your team’s scope, collaborating with our dedicated automation team.

Migration: We are migrating to a shared product with another brand from our group based in the U.S. You’ll now work on the same codebase as the American product, which will require close collaboration with an international team. A good level of English is essential to communicate effectively with teams abroad.
