As a Data Engineer you’ll join our Tech team, report directly to our CTO and work closely with the Product and Business teams to tackle exciting challenges, including:

Following our success in France and Germany, Dalma will continue its European expansion in 2025. You’ll play a key role in developing tech solutions tailored to the unique needs of each market.

Pricing is a critical lever for achieving growth and profitability. You’ll develop a robust, scalable pricing infrastructure that will keep Dalma ahead of the competition.

Beyond insurance, we’re developing unique features to help pet owners take care of their furry friends every day. You’ll contribute to designing and integrating these new services that enhance the Dalma experience.

What you’ll Do:

As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the way data flows across our systems. Here’s how you’ll make an impact :

• Build and optimize ML models : Configure, deploy, automate and industrialize the deployment of ML models.

• Build and scale data pipelines: Design, implement, test, deploy, document, and maintain high-performance data pipelines that power our decision-making

• Design scalable architectures: Architect efficient data flows and structures to seamlessly connect diverse data sources and ensure scalability as we grow

• Guarantee data consistency: Ensure the implementation of good practices in data security and confidentiality.

• Collaborate on Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations with partner applications using cutting-edge microservices principles

• Promote IA in the company: Support, depending on the level of expertise, the implementation of new artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

• Work on an existing infrastructure : Be proactive in solving problems.

• Collaborate and be part of a team : Work in an agile environment, tracking and prioritizing your tasks using the Scrum methodology to deliver value regularly and efficiently

• You are a graduate of an engineering school or equivalent with a specialization in software, you like challenges and teamwork!

• You are a Software engineer with 3 to 5 years experience in Data engineering and/or data science

• Mandatory : Strong experience in microservices. Knowledge of Hexa architecture is a plus.

• You have a good knowledge of programming languages: Python

• You have a good knowledge of several databases: NoSQL and SQL. Knowledge of DynamoDB (NoSQL) is a plus

• You have experience in third party application integration. For example: Hubspot, Stripe

• Knowledge of AWS Cloud is a plus: Lambda, Step functions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Glue, Eventbridge, Spark, Big Query

• You have good experience in end-to-end pipeline design including monitoring, alerting, recovery tools, incident management
